ReplyDeleteI have taken great pleasure in spending time with this blog of yours for the last couple of days. Your art is just marvellous - and I find the the tiny portions of text you "dish out", together with the drawings, both amusing & intriguing.
But I also have a few questions for you: Do you do all the drawing on site? And: What kind of pen do you prefer for this fine line work?

DeleteDrawings are made onsite, in hotels, bars, cafes, and back at the studio, wherever and whenever there is time. Often just a few lines are made onsite in pencil or ink and the bulk of any tonal work done later. I work from life and digital photographs. I use 0.05 and 0.1 Copic Multiliner pens as I can replace both the nib assembly and the ink cartridge.
